Which Massage is best for me?
This all depends on the benefit you want from a treatment. Each type of massage has a slightly different way it is delivered and can result in different benefits as outlined below. Which massage you choose is dependent on the result you want, but different massages can be combined and tailored to your specific needs. If you are still not sure please contact us to discuss your treatment further.
I want to exercise or move without discomfort.
A sports massage can help prevent or repair sports related injury and provide relief from pain while your injury heals. It is a corrective massage and is also ideal for any chronic aches and pains which are not the result of sports injury, but may also be due to muscle overuse, through work or repetitive movement. Although the actual massage is not considered relaxing, the effect of the massage can bring relief from pain and soreness.
I want to feel revitalised and relaxed
A deep tissue massage works deeper into the muscles by applying firm pressure to help break down tension and knots within muscle groups and soft tissue. It is a deeply relaxing massage bringing relief from aching muscles. Helps rejuvenate and strengthen tired muscles.
I want to feel less stressed, more relaxed and sleep better
A deep tissue massage, where a gentle to medium pressure is used, will help ease muscles and soft tissue relieving tension and assisting relaxation. Relaxed muscles can help the mind switch off and promote emotional well being.
An Rejuvenating Facial Massage works on the face, head and neck. It uses pressure applied to acupressure points on the face, head and neck. It is deeply relaxing and helps promote a wonderful sense of well being, whilst rejuvenating your complexion.
I have a persistent, niggling pain
Myofascial tissue release can help with a nondescript, niggling pain. It works to release tension on the myofascial connective tissue. It is usually, though not exclusively, performed on the back.
